2. There are problems with the flexible plum coupling on site

(1) This type of coupling has poor compensation performance and cannot adapt to high-power transmission, and multiple failures affect production.

(3) The embedded structure of the two halves of the coupling brings great inconvenience to the maintenance of large-scale equipment. If any place needs to be replaced, the motor and liquid viscosity need to be axially shifted, and the correction needs to be re-aligned when recovering. Increase equipment maintenance workload and reduce performance.

3. Solution

When designing the upper warehouse belt conveyor, the choice of the coupling is only based on the transmission torque requirements. The requirements are relatively low and the elastic plum coupling is relatively low in the same type of large belt conveyors, and most of them use elastic pin pins. So far, changing the coupling has become a better solution to the problem of the upper silo belt conveyor coupling.

4. The transformation process

After verifying the large transmission torque of the belt conveyor drive device in the upper warehouse, it was found that the elastic pin coupling, gear coupling, roller chain coupling, serpentine spring coupling, etc. can meet the requirements of on-site transformation. condition.

5. Transformation effect

After repeatedly comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various couplings, and investigating the use of each coupling in the belt conveyor, the serpentine spring coupling was later locked. This type of coupling consists of two halves of the coupling. And serpentine springs, each coupling has a spring groove. In actual work, the spring is embedded in the spring groove to complete the torque transmission. The couplings are not embedded in the radial direction, so that when the device moves, only the snake is removed. The shape spring is sufficient, without the need to move the equipment axially, which greatly reduces the maintenance intensity and shortens the maintenance time. After the coupling is used in the four sets of drives, the operation effect of each coupling is good, and there is no problem due to the coupling. The production situation is affected, and during the process of changing the liquid viscous soft starter, there is no need to move the motor and other equipment, which greatly shortens the maintenance time and reduces the labor intensity.

 The serpentine spring coupling belongs to the flexible coupling of the metal elastic element. It is composed of several sets of serpentine springs wound between the teeth of the two halves of the coupling to transmit motion and power. The flanges of the two halves of the coupling are made There are teeth with a specific shape. The serpentine springs are embedded between the teeth and the teeth are covered by a closed shell to prevent the serpentine spring from being thrown under the action of centrifugal force during the operation of the coupling. Out.At the same time, lubricating oil is stored in the protective cover to lubricate the contact between the spring and the tooth surface to avoid dry friction.

When the serpentine spring works, the teeth on the two coupling halves and the serpentine spring squeeze each other, thereby transmitting the torque of the driving shaft to the driven shaft.The teeth on the two halves of the serpentine spring coupling are generally linear and curved.When the linear tooth is in normal operation, the contact point between the serpentine spring and the two coupling halves does not change with the transmission torque, and the transmission torque is in a linear relationship with the relative torsion angle of the two coupling halves.Therefore, the rigidity of the coupling remains unchanged, and the serpentine spring coupling with this tooth profile forms a constant-stiffness serpentine coupling in the same city, which is easy to manufacture and is suitable for occasions where the torque changes little.For curved teeth, during normal operation, the bending of the serpentine spring on the tooth block surface is similar to a line contact in the section direction. The distance between the serpentine spring and the contact point of the two halves of the coupling teeth will increase with the increase of torque Decrease, its torque and the relative torsion angle of the two halves of the coupling are in a non-linear relationship, so the stiffness of the coupling changes. The serpentine coupling with this tooth shape becomes a rigid serpentine coupling.

1 Carefully align the installation and control reasonable deviation

  Although the serpentine spring coupling allows a large installation deviation, it should also be within the specified value during installation

  (1) Correction of the gap between the two-lobe coupling and the angular deviation. When installing, measure the gap between the two-lobe coupling every 90°, and the difference between the larger value and the smaller value does not exceed 0.38mm .

  (2) Correction of radial deviation.Place a ruler on the two-part coupling, and measure it every 90°. Use a ruler to check that the radial deviation does not exceed 0.38mm.

2 Choose suitable grease

  The temperature of the oil injection point is ≥150℃, which can resist centrifugal force, has separation stability, no impurities, and does not corrode carbon steel and nitrile rubber lithium-based grease.

  3 Fill enough grease

  Adequate grease is very important for the work of the coupling, and it is recommended to check it once a year.Inject grease with a dry oil tool until excess grease overflows in the hole.

The serpentine spring coupling has basic type, medium and high speed type, full discharge type, half discharge type, remote transmission type, brake wheel type, brake disc type, etc.Specification model JS101-JS125 series, torque range 45-800000N.m, allowable speed 4500-540r/min, shaft hole range 14-500mm.The outer diameter of the serpentine spring coupling housing is 98-1270mm.However, the precautions for use are similar.as follows:

  1. Before installing the spring, fill the tooth groove of the coupling with the specified grease, and then knock the spring in place with a mallet. Note: The disconnected ends of the spring should all face the same direction to protect the housing. Can be closed.Assemble the two shells on the same side according to the label, and close them according to the labeled label, and then tighten the bolts. Never tighten the bolts when the two shells are not closed to avoid damage to the shell.

  2. Open the cover, insert the broken end of the spring with a round steel or bolt, and pry up, and then use the inner teeth as a fulcrum at the end of the inserted spring ring to pry the springs one by one in the radial direction. .
